Compared to the previous TR's the TR4 had more creature comforts as well as performance. These made possible by its independent rear suspension and a refined interior. The TR4 was exceptional in its class of sports cars producing a performance of 108 mph from a 4 cylinder 2188cc engine. The triumph TR series were very distinctive in their design and were very popular road racing cars.
