It is based on the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 fighter aircraft but optimized for air-to-ground attack. Unlike the MiG-23, the MiG-27 did not have widespread use outside the Soviet Union, as most countries opted for the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23BN and Sukhoi Su-22 instead. As of late 2023, all Russian, Indian, Sri Lankan, Ukrainian, and Kazakh MiG-27s have been retired, bringing the type's service to an end.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"ESCI","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":48346624458990,"sku":"4020","price":26.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0073\/8761\/1172\/files\/FD00D7A2-5CED-4189-A1EE-AFF6CB6111F7.jpg?v=1784392259","url":"https:\/\/jbarhobbies.com\/products\/mig-27-flogger-d-1-48-1979-issue","provider":"J-BarHobbies","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
