Rare. 1967 issue hardbox with colorful John Steel artwork. Very large 1/19 scale kit. Aurora originally designed these molds for gas-powered U-Control aircraft. Market experience, however, showed Aurora that liability was higher with gas powered aircraft and customer returns were common. Aurora quickly came up with an idea to recoup the tooling costs - sell the kits as giant scale screw-together static model aircraft. Luckily the kits sold very well for Aurora, and modelers ended with some of the largest scale injection molded kits ever produced.
