She had a steel hull and an alternating triple expansion steam engine. A coal-fired tubular boiler producing steam at 180 pounds per square inch enabled her to reach a speed of 10 knots.Constructo's double plank-on-bulkhead kit is well researched and accurately reproduced. All wooden parts are pre-cut, and fittings are plentiful. Cast metal is used for the ship's wheel, propeller, lifeboat, air vents and skylights. Bell, eyebolts, gear shafts and steam cylinder are brass. Rigging line, sail material, cloth flags, colorful decals and wooden display base with pedestals are all included.
