On December 14th 1986 Burt Rutan's unusal looking Voyager aircraft made it's historical take-off from Mojave airfield. The crew consisted of two pilots. Ex-military Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager - Nine days later the airplane made landing at the same airfield - the world;s first non-stop, no-refueling round-the-world flight became a reality.
