This is a resin kit - If you have not worked with resin I suggest you research the different building techniques. The parts may require some sanding in order fit properly. You must use either two-part epoxy glue or cyano (superglue) adhesive. Both of these work well, so it is down to individual preference.
The Curtiss XF15C-1 is a mixed-propulsion fighter prototype of the 1940s. It was among a number of similar designs ordered by the US Navy before pure-jet aircraft had demonstrated their ability to operate from carriers and the mixed-propulsion designs were abandoned. Only two prototypes were constructed, one of which crashed while the other survives to this day.
