Ford introduced the Mustang in 1964 and each year brought a new version. In 1967 the fastback received a new roof line blending clearly with the bodywork which gave a much sleeker look compared with the previous 2 + 2 models. To keep ahead of its rivals, Ford fitted a more powerful 6.4l V8 engine developing 320 hp. Due to the extra weight, suspension modifications were required but this car was capable of accelerating 0-60 mph in 7.5 seconds and reach a maximum of 125 mph. This Ford Mustang is the epitome of the great American "Muscle" cars.
