The Citroen 'traction avant" was the first massed produced car with front wheel drive. Citroen have maintained this tradition to this day through their innovative and revolutionary designs and car mechanisms. The Citroen 15CV is the enlarged version, first introduced in 1938. It was a 6 cylinder 2900cc engine developing 76hp and a top speed of 80mph. This vehicle was very popular and was used extensively by Government officials and police forces.
