Molded in light grey, this kit does require plastic cement and paint. This kit is recommended for modelers ages 10 and up. The decal markings in this kit include: Военно-воздушные силы СССР (Soviet Air Forces 1918-1992) and US Army Air Forces (1941-1947).

About the plane: The P-39Q/N Airacobra is a WWII Fighter plane, manufactured by Bell. The P-39 had an unusual layout, with the engine installed in the center fuselage, behind the pilot, and driving a tractor propeller in the nose with a long shaft. It was also the first fighter fitted with a tricycle undercarriage. Although its mid-engine placement was innovative, the P-39 design was handicapped by the absence of an efficient turbo-supercharger, preventing it from performing high-altitude work. The national origin of this fighter is the United States. The planes' primary users include: The US Army Air Force, The Soviet Union Air Force, and The Royal Air Force.
