Very well detailed and molded kit with resin details. The model 91 was originally ordered by Pan Am as an improvement on the S-38. Pan Am took delivery of two and they were used by their Brazilian branch, Panair do Brazil. This is how the name 'Jungle Clipper' was born. One 91 went to New Guinea, two ended up in service with the Japanese Armed Forces, one lead an fascinating life in the Spanish Civil War, and yet another was an executive transport owned by the famous high-speed boat driver Gar Wood.
