Rare. Beautifully cast in high-definition resin with all fine recessed panel lines, cockpit, optional position landing gear and full decals. The IAe-27 Pulqui was the first jet aircraft to be designed and built in Argentina supposedly it was the 6th nation to accomplish this feat. It was designed as a single-seat interceptor capable of operating from relatively short and unprepared runways. The first prototype flew for the first time on August 9th, 1947 but the performance was disappointing. With the FMA IAe 33 Pulqui II already in the advanced design stage, test flights continued but there was no production. The single prototype has been restored and is on display in Argentina. Although it did not see service, it was an important step in Argentina's aerospace history.
